Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Peosta, IA. The Community Life Pastor will be responsible for providing spiritual care, mentoring, and leadership to the congregation. Key tasks include leading Bible study groups, offering pastoral care, supporting discipleship initiatives, and fostering the spiritual growth of church members. Additional responsibilities include planning and leading community engagement activities, providing guidance during important life events, and helping to develop and strengthen the church’s community life programs.
Qualifications

Proficiency in Bible Study, with the ability to guide and lead scripture-based discussions
Experience in Pastoring and providing Pastoral Care to individuals and groups
Skills in Pastoral roles, including public speaking, leadership, and spiritual guidance
Capacity to lead and promote Discipleship within the congregation
Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for serving diverse populations
Ability to work collaboratively with other church staff and volunteers
A Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Ministry, or a related field is preferred
Previous experience in a pastoral or ministry leadership role is highly desirable
