Position
Overnight Maintenance Attendant
Location: Design District (3800 NE 1st Ave, Miami, FL 33137)
Pay: $18/hour
Schedule: 12am to 8am; must be able to work weekends as needed.
Job Overview
The Maintenance staff performs a variety of tasks to ensure smooth operation of the parking facility and to exceed customer expectations. Depending on location needs, the staff is responsible for general maintenance and repair of parking equipment and works closely with team members, Operations Manager and/or Shift Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with sign installation and removal, litter pick‑up, and garbage removal
Snow removal and pressure washing as directed
Represent the company in the event of accidents within the facility
Coordinate with property security regarding garage and parking‑related issues
Assist with repair of broken gate arms
Other duties as assigned
Manage equipment belonging to the Property Manager, valued from $200 to $50,000
Interact face‑to‑face with customers, prioritizing service
Ensure the site is kept clean, neat, and free of obstacles per site requirements
Maintain control of all tools and equipment required for duties
Suggest and recommend ways to improve job performance
Consult with supervisor or manager on operational matters
Log all issues and events, reporting them to direct supervisor
Coordinate problem resolution with supervisors or managers
Serve as a front‑line employee in this important role
Wear required uniforms neatly, representing the company professionally
Prioritize work with manager oversight
Track stock and supply levels
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Well organized
Strong command of English, friendly, even‑tempered, cooperative, and capable of effective communication
Basic knowledge of pressure washers and power tools, ability to tow a trailer
Ability to operate a snow plow is an asset
Ability to drive various types of vehicles (automatic or manual)
Knowledge of parking‑related machinery
Education / Specialized Knowledge Requirements
Previous experience with general repairs and maintenance functions
High School Diploma or GED required
Basic technical education
