
Human Resources Generalist (2nd/3rd shift)

Job Summary
Provides direction and support to business units in the areas of employee relations, staffing, employee development, employee counseling, training and performance management.
Responsibilities
Making recommendations to senior management on issues concerning employees, recruiting, turnover or training.
Handling employee relations issues, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.
Administering compensation programs; monitoring performance evaluation programs and revising as necessary.
Conducting organizational effectiveness assessments and recommending programs to address issues.
Qualifications
Education: Degree or equivalent experience desired.
Knowledge of employee rights, obligations and legal requirements in employee relations.
Understanding of HR policies, standards and procedures.
Knowledge of the organization’s vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values and code of ethics.
Ability to use decision‑making tools and techniques to analyze situations and make informed judgments.
Strong communication skills for effectively transmitting and receiving information.
Interpersonal skills for working collaboratively with diverse individuals and groups.
Proficiency in data gathering and reporting techniques.
Location & Schedule
Primary location: Athens, GA.
Shift schedule: 2nd/3rd shift.
Office presence: 5 days a week.
Domestic relocation available for qualified candidates. No sponsorship is available.
Pay Range
$89,210.00 – $133,810.00 (may vary by level, location, skills and experience).
