This role provides strategic leadership, governance, and execution for benefits programs offered outside the core U.S. benefits suite. This role exists to ensure that international benefits and leave programs are compliant, competitive, right‑sized, and aligned with T‑Mobile's Total Rewards philosophy across multiple jurisdictions with differing legal, regulatory, and cultural requirements.
This role leads the strategy, design, harmonization, and ongoing evolution of international benefits and global leave programs across APAC, EMEA, and the non‑U.S. Americas. Benefit packages offered will be culturally competent and aid in hiring and retaining talent in different markets. This role manages risk and vendor issues, and builds repeatable frameworks to support growth, new ongoing acquisitions, and new market entry. Success is measured by effective regulatory compliance, strong vendor performance, building an operating model that isn't overengineered, and delivering a high-quality and meaningful employee experience.

Job Responsibilities
Lead the emerging global strategy, design, and continuous evolution of international benefits programs, using benchmarking, data, cultural needs, and business needs as a guide. Includes building and designing future-state benefits across segments including health, insured benefits, financial, retirement, wellbeing, time away, leave of absence, and statutory offerings.
Build, monitor, and maintain compliant practices across global jurisdictions, ensuring programs meet statutory requirements and legal requirements.
Oversee global and local brokers, carriers, TPAs, and other vendors that support international benefits programming, including contracting, renewals, service levels, and escalations.
Lead and develop international benefits team members, including direct and indirect reports across India, APAC, and EMEA. Provide coaching, development, and regular feedback to build on existing capabilities. Partner with other members of the benefits team to ensure philosophical and operational alignment.
Financial Management and Communications including partnering with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and funding. Analyze cost trends, utilization, and vendor performance to inform future decisions. Lead efforts to build benefits communications, including employee guides, onboarding materials, and FAQs.
Responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of related work experience, OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
7-10 years managing and designing international benefit programs, including experience in APAC, AMEA, and the non-U.S. Americas. Strong knowledge of international benefits legislation, compliance, and insured benefit models. (Required)
2-4 years people management experience; preference for management across regions and global time zones. (Required)
2-4 years experience in M&A, including rapid international growth and company acquisitions. Proven ability to harmonize acquired programs while keeping the employee at the center of the experience.
Strong communication and problem resolution skills
Ability to thrive in ambiguity and guide others in prioritizing work in a fast-paced, complex, evolving environment.
Familiarity with global HRIS, payroll, and benefit administration platforms including data integrations
Strategic thinking and risk anticipation/prevention
At least 18 years of age
