Responsibilities
Identify and secure new business through creative sales tactics, including networking and cold calling
Resolve billing, policy change, coverage, and insurance claims issues using exemplary customer service skills
Ensure up‑to‑date information within insurance company databases to effectively drive sales and current customers
Review insurance policies for accuracy, coverage, and limits in order to recommend modifications, as needed
Compose tailored policy options, quotes, and educational materials to prospective and existing insurance clients
Qualifications
Strong aptitude for computer programs including Microsoft Office required; agency management system experience preferred
Stellar verbal and written communication skills mandatory
Must be an effective collaborator who takes a goal‑oriented approach to sales
Must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience working in the insurance industry
A thorough understanding of all insurance company policies and insurance coverage offerings, including their costs and benefits
Compensation
$45,000 - $75,000 at plan earnings
