Key Responsibilities
Assist with month end closing activities to ensure accuracy and completeness, including journal entry preparation with supporting documentation and balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with preparation of property tax and sales tax filings.
Prepare general ledger, credit card and bank account reconciliations, and schedules to assist in the annual financial statement audit
Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly corporate reporting
Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions
Assist with special reporting and analysis projects
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
CPA track preferred
Prior public accounting experience in a "Big 4" or "mid‑tier" public accounting firm or experience in a corporate accounting/reporting role (Preferred)
Competencies and Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with customer‑facing experience
Detail oriented and deadline driven, with excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to comfortably work in a high-volume environment and manage multiple projects for our various brand companies
Strong, current expertise with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Tools
Proficiency with Epicor Profit21 (preferred)
Ability to effectively work independently and with a team
Coachable, self‑starter, and team player
Ability to fluently read, write, and speak English
