Reviews,evaluates,andreportsonCityconstruction,engineering,orutilityserviceoperations
Recommendstechnicalstandardsforinclusioninspecificationsforpublicworksconstruction
Providesstrategicplanninglevelanddetaileddesigninput
Performsrelatedworkasrequired
Performs the duties of a Project Engineer and a Principal Engineer, when required
Communicatesclearly,concisely,andcomprehensiblyinbothwrittenandverbalformat
Minimumof four years'experienceinthefunctional areaindividualis managing(i.e.EngineeringDesign, ConstructionManagement,or Regulatory Compliance)Registered as a ProfessionalEngineerbytheStateofFlorida
Thoroughknowledgeoftheprinciples and practices of engineering,surveying,design,construction,maintenance,and operationormajor PublicWorks projects and facilities such as:roads,bridges,water,sewer,drainageworks,traffic,andcoastalprotectionfacilities
Thoroughknowledgeoftheprinciplesandpracticesofengineeringsurveys
Considerableknowledgeoflawsandregulationsapplicabletodesign andconstructionofPublicWorksprojects
Abilitytoinstruct,train,andsupervisepersonnelinallaspectsofPublicWorksengineering
Capableofsigning and sealingengineering drawings and documentsin accordance with the rulesoftheFloridaBoardofProfessionalEngineersandFloridaStatute61G15-23
Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management of roads, water, sewer and stormwater systems.
