Overview
CEC Entertainment offers internships with an HR focus across our brands Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper Pizza. Internships typically occur during Fall, Spring, and Summer and range in length from 10 to 13 weeks. You will be notified when the internship recruitment process starts so you can confirm your interest.
Responsibilities
Human Resources Generalist Internship: expand knowledge of HR by supporting employee initiatives, planning events, developing training materials, updating onboarding, working on the benefits website, and using Workday as an HRIS system. Interns will observe operations, shadow team members, and collaborate across departments.
Talent Acquisition Internship: assist with the full cycle recruiting process, manage candidate communications, update applicant tracking systems, and support various administrative tasks. Interns will gain experience in recruiting operations, data management, and communication, working closely with recruiters and hiring managers.
Qualifications
For HR Generalist: a Bachelor’s degree in progress (HR, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred) and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills are required.
For Talent Acquisition: strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are required, with progress in a degree related to HR or other related fields.
Applicable majors/interests include: Human Resources, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, Sociology.
