
Electro-Mechanical Technician III (Monday-Friday:Third shift)

Shift: Monday - Friday / 11:00pm 7:30pm
Start Pay Range: $28.50
Objectives / Purpose
The job functions and responsibilities include providing electro‑mechanical support for production equipment (compounding, filling, packaging). The EMT team is dedicated to sustaining production with minimal downtime by troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues, including resolving mechanical and electrical problems and performing scheduled maintenance. This position involves teamwork in troubleshooting activities, repairs, and preventative maintenance of high‑speed manufacturing equipment, occasional project work, offline rebuild work, and routine maintenance support. Experience of 3‑5 years as an EM Technician II or equivalent is required, with specialization in automation system upgrades, PLC/controllers, and electromechanical equipment. SME for electromechanical equipment is also required.
Key Activities / Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair and document production equipment issues, including PLC programming (Siemens and AB) and HMI control systems.
Identify improvement opportunities for equipment design and preventative maintenance programs.
Meet and maintain all required training during the year (SOP, EHS, and HR).
Provide training to EMT1 and EMT2 associates.
Liaise with Engineering for new equipment.
Participate in 24/7 on‑call support staff.
Assist with off‑site training and engineering support, including international travel.
Support operational excellence and EHS initiatives.
Take responsibility for GMP, ISO, and EHS awareness and compliance within the area.
Attend and participate in OpEx improvement initiatives such as reducing costs and improving OEE.
Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Training
High School diploma required; AA/AS or technical degree preferred.
5‑10 years in a pharmaceutical/FDA regulated environment.
Basic electrical, mechanical and PLC experience required.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work quickly and under pressure.
Good documentation, computer, and math skills.
Detail oriented and quality conscious.
Team oriented with excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English.
Ability to work different shifts/weekends as needed to maintain the production schedule.
