Minimum Requirements (Education/Experience)
High school diploma or GED certificate required with three to five years related experience. Ability to read plumbing prints. Class E Driver's License. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Preferred (Education/Experience)
Associate's degree strong preferred.

Collier County Public Schools is seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our Maintenance Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing, and installing a wide range of plumbing systems and components across district facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair water lines, sewer lines, lift stations, backflow preventers, condensate drains, storm drain systems, pumps, tanks, plumbing fixtures, and kitchen equipment.
Perform diagnostic assessments and troubleshooting of plumbing systems.
Maintain a detailed working knowledge of plumbing systems and stay current with technical training.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications
Proven experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
Relevant plumbing certifications and licenses preferred.
