Essential Responsibilities

Provide regional maintenance support across assigned properties, including service requests, preventive maintenance, capital projects, and vacancy coverage.

Act as the go‑to for current Service Technicians and report directly to the Regional Service Manager and Regional Manager; on site, report to the Service Manager and Community Director.

Repair and enhance the community by maintaining plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and painting needs; on‑the‑job training provided.

Creative problem‑solver who is attentive to detail, manages time well, and learns quickly.

Respond to service requests promptly, collaborating with teammates and prioritizing work to build resident satisfaction.

Monitor apartment vacancies daily and initiate turnover processes, including painting, cleaning, and repairs.

Safeguard equipment with regular tune‑ups, extending equipment life and reducing costly repairs.

Inspect property daily for cleanliness and safety, supporting curb appeal.

Requirements

2+ years of hands‑on general maintenance experience, including work orders and HVAC.

Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Rotating on‑call responsibility for after‑hours emergencies.

Valid driver’s license.

EPA license.

Travel up to 75%.

This role requires an EPA Universal or HVAC certification. If selected, Hilltop will cover the cost to obtain the required certification.
