Job Description
The 2nd Shift Electro-Mechanical Technician at Wow Bao is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems within the manufacturing environment. This role requires diagnosing and troubleshooting issues using tools such as multimeters, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, and hand/power tools. The technician performs scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and minimize downtime, while ensuring safety and accurate documentation. Collaboration with other departments and continuous learning are key aspects of this role.
This position is a Mon - Friday 2nd shift position; work times could be flexible based on business needs.

Requirements
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems in manufacturing equipment.
Install and maintain components such as switches, circuits, motors, and other machinery.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks to avoid breakdowns and minimize downtime.
Use hand and power tools, as well as computers and software, to examine and fix issues.
Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance work performed and inventory of spare parts.
Operate machinery during test runs and inspections to ensure proper functionality.
Collaborate with other departments to determine solutions to complex issues.
Identify potential safety hazards and take appropriate measures to prevent accidents.
Follow established safety procedures and regulations at all times.
Assist with the installation, setup, and calibration of new equipment or upgrades.
Train new technicians and operators on the proper use and maintenance of machinery.
Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Additional Requirements
Experience in food manufacturing is a plus.
Experience with 480V 3-phase, 240V 3-phase, and 110V single-phase electrical systems.
Experience with TIG and STIG welding is required.
Physical Demands
Must be able to work 2nd Shift hours.
Full-time position based at the Forest City, NC food manufacturing facility.
Occasional overtime, including weekends, may be required based on production schedules.
Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the production facility.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds at a time.
Ability to work in various environments including cold environments for extended periods.
Use of protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection.
Manual dexterity for handling tools and parts.
