Full‑time. High school degree. $25.00 - $50.00 per hour.
RSC Mechanical is looking to expand our team and is seeking Refrigeration Service Technicians. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company that invests in its technicians and offers long‑term career stability.

Job Responsibilities
Service, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and self‑contained refrigeration systems
Work on split systems, package units, heat pumps, condensing units, and controls
Repair self‑contained cases, coolers, freezers, and ice machines
Perform preventive and general maintenance
Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues
Handle refrigerants safely in compliance with EPA regulations
Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and team members
Complete digital work orders and required documentation
Participate in on‑call rotation after training
Travel locally as needed
Qualifications
Experience and working knowledge of HVAC and commercial refrigeration preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to perform effectively in fast‑paced and high‑pressure environments.
Self‑starter capable of working independently and in a team setting.
Customer‑focused mindset with strong communications skills.
Technicians are expected to provide their own standard hand tools.
Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and digital work order systems.
Willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation after training and travel as needed.
Schedule
Full‑time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with overtime as required.
On‑Call Requirements
Participation in an on‑call rotation following the training period. Must always be available and responsive during assigned on‑call shifts.

Work performed indoors and outdoors, with potential exposure to noise, dust, fumes, odors, gases, mechanical/electrical hazards, moving objects, sharp edges, and varying weather conditions.
Manual dexterity required.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, crouch, and occasionally climb stairs or ladders.
Visual acuity sufficient to read printed and electronic materials.
Ability to lift and/or exert force up to 50 pounds.
Frequent driving of motor vehicles.
Licenses & Certifications
EPA Universal Certification (required)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
