What’s It For You
Trane at San Juan office is looking for a HVAC Senior Service Technician and will be responsible for assisting Service Technician Supervisor and HVAC Field Supervisor in the inspection, installation, repair and maintenance of environmental control systems, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, control systems, pipe fitting, and structural layouts. If coming from a union, the candidate should have knowledge and tests approved of all the functions and skills at levels I through III. Proven experience and knowledge of the vast majority of Trane’s equipment. Non‑Union position.

What You Will Do

Assist in servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Use a variety of hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to mount, assemble, and repair units.

Use power tools and computers.

Identify, analyze, and repair equipment, instruments, and products at the customer’s site.

Perform preventive maintenance, site surveys, installations, and modifications as needed or requested by customers, HVAC Service Technicians, or HVAC Service Supervisors.

Maintain stock of inventory, company equipment, and document all service‑related activities (including report writing).

Determine parts to order for repair and timing of needs.

Perform vehicle maintenance, as necessary.

Deliver parts to job sites, as necessary.

Travel regularly with occasional overnight travel.

Be flexible to work overtime and weekends, as required.

Apply troubleshooting skills and knowledge of HVAC equipment.

What You Will Bring

Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school with an HVAC diploma, five or more years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Reading comprehension in English/Spanish is required.

Valid driver’s license

HVAC Diploma

Refrigeration Technician License, mandatory

EPA Universal license, mandatory
