Overview
MasTec Civil is currently hiring for a Mechanic. The Mechanic is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repairs such as tune-up, oil change, tire and brake checks, spark plug replacement, and similar tasks.
Perform electrical system tasks such as replacing batteries, starters and lights.
Test drive vehicles to ensure repairs are completed properly.
Clean the shop and return tools to their proper location.
Maintain inventory of replacement parts and equipment.
Inspect tools and equipment to ensure they are in working order.
Update maintenance and repair logs for vehicles.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Related experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Knowledge of vehicle repair.
Excellent mechanical skills.
Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to use power and hand tools.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to read service and repair manuals.
