Job Overview
We’re seeking a skilled and customer‑centric individual to serve as a Property Field Adjuster, managing property damage claims and conducting inspections throughout the Minden, Ruston, and Bossier City area.
Responsibilities
Handle property field claims from First Notice of Loss to conclusion, including investigation, documentation, coverage analysis, estimation development, and subrogation/salvage assessment.
Provide guidance and support to policyholders throughout the claims process, with prompt communication and excellent attention to detail.
Conduct field‑based inspections to determine the extent of loss and prepare detailed estimates and documentation to support insurance claims.
Establish relationships with producing agencies.
Participate in catastrophe duty as needed; CAT duty may occur throughout the United States and can last up to 4 weeks.
Qualifications
Previous property claims experience.
Ability to scope, diagram, and estimate damages.
Mobile home and dwelling construction knowledge preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work/industry experience.
A clean driving record and a valid driver’s license are required.
Proficiency in Symbility, Xactimate, or similar estimating platforms.
Industry training, coursework, or certifications are preferred (e.g., AIC, CPCU, SCLA).
Field position requiring house inspections, including interior and exterior of properties.
Ability to lift, carry, set up, ascend, and descend ladders in excess of 40 pounds.
Applicants requiring employer sponsorship of a visa will not be considered.
Candidates must be located in or near Minden, Ruston, or Bossier City, LA, and will drive to inspections throughout surrounding counties.
