Position Overview
GS Power Partners (GSPP) is seeking a collaborative, highly driven and results-oriented professional for a summer internship on its Structured Finance & Investments (SFI) team. The SFI team leads project finance, mergers & acquisitions, and capital raising activities supporting the company’s distributed generation solar and storage portfolio. This position requires attention to detail, superior communication skills, and the ability to work with a cross-functional team of professionals. The ideal candidate willdemonstratea passion for renewable energy development, workindependentlyand will be an important contributor to our dynamic team. The ideal candidate willpossessstrong knowledge of financialmodeling, ideally as it relates to renewablesand tax equity.
Key Position Responsibilities Include
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities across the distributed generation solar and storage sector, including project finance, M&A, and capital markets activity
Support the Structured Finance & Investments team on project finance transactions (construction-to-permanent debt, tax equity, and back‑leverage) as well as M&A and capital raising initiatives in support of the company’s growth objectives
Build and analyze financial models and tax equity, debt, and revenue assumptions to support project-level underwriting, portfolio acquisitions, and investment committee materials, with oversight from the team
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
Strong financial modeling and analysis skills
Pursuing undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ideas and run with them from concept to conclusion
Technical understanding of the renewables industry, with interest in project finance and M&A
Education
Applicants shouldbe currentlyenrolled in an undergraduate program. Juniors and Seniors preferred

The Structured Finance & Investments Intern will report to our NYC office Monday to Thursday
Compensation
Paid internship working 4 days a week (Monday– Thursday)
