Job Description
We are seeking five traveling millwrights to join our team for an exciting project at a pet food manufacturing plant in Crete, Nebraska. The project involves a plant shutdown from June 19th to 30th, during which time new equipment will be installed and concrete work will be completed on the existing system. Remaining on the project, the team will move to a flour mill project in Commerce, California, where they will install grain handling and flour processing equipment.
Responsibilities
Install new equipment and perform concrete work at the existing system during the plant shutdown.
Install conveyors, belt sets, and grinders at the pet food manufacturing plant.
Move to the flour mill project in Commerce, California, to install grain handling and flour processing equipment.
Essential Skills
Experience in installing food and beverage equipment.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints.
Understanding of GMP and sanitation requirements.
Experience with concrete and structural steel.
Knowledge of motor drive shaft alignment and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in welding, hydraulics, mechanical, and pneumatics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Structural G3 certification, stick, and MIG welding are a plus.
Rigging experience.
Experience with dryers, ovens, milling equipment, and conveyors is a significant advantage.
