Responsibilities
Lead design and development of product components and subsystems.
Create engineering specifications and documents to meet product requirements.
Perform engineering analysis on designs to ensure they meet requirements.
Write and execute test plans and document results.
Use statistical analysis to inform engineering decisions.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure design success.
Communicate engineering decisions based on data to executive leadership.
Qualifications
4+ years of mechanical design experience.
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Strong fundamentals in statics, dynamics, stress analysis, and material science.
Experience with manufacturing methods like sheet metal and injection molding.
Proficiency in statistics and statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
Experience defining specifications and test plans for design validation.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional partners.
