Role Description
This full‑time, on‑site position is located in South Bend, IN. The Audio Video Lighting Technician will set up, operate, and maintain audio, video, and lighting systems across the property, including events and performances. Responsibilities include testing equipment for functionality, resolving technical issues during live events, collaborating with performers and event organizers to meet technical needs, maintaining equipment inventory, and ensuring all technical systems are safely and efficiently operated. The technician will contribute to creating high‑quality experiences for guests through seamless audiovisual production.
Qualifications
Experience operating, setting up, and troubleshooting audio, video, and lighting equipment
Proficiency with audiovisual system testing, equipment maintenance, and inventory management
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with performers, event organizers, and team members
Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills to resolve technical issues quickly and ensure smooth events
Physical ability to lift and carry equipment, climb ladders, and work in varying conditions
Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Previous experience in live entertainment, events, or a similar field is highly desirable
Technical certifications or training in audiovisual systems is a plus
