Estimator / Project Manager (Heavy Highway & Utility Construction)
Job Summary
A well-established, family-owned contractor in the Siouxland area is looking for an Estimator / Project Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who wants to be part of a company known for quality work, strong values, and a team-oriented culture.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate cost estimates for heavy highway and utility projects
Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
Manage projects from bid through completion
Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and clients
Track project budgets, schedules, and progress
Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
Qualifications
2-3+ years of experience in civil construction (commercial construction experience encouraged)
Experience with heavy highway or utility projects preferred
Strong skills in estimating, project management, and communication
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software
