Field Service Technician in Orlando

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician with strong hands‑on skills across multiple trades to support commercial and retail service work. This role requires a dependable, detail‑oriented technician who can complete a wide variety of repairs, punch‑list items, and small‑to‑mid scope maintenance tasks while maintaining excellent communication and professionalism on job sites.

Key Responsibilities

Perform day‑to‑day service work across multiple trades including:

Drywall

repair and patching

Painting

and touch‑ups

Basic plumbing

(fixtures, valves, leaks, toilets, faucets)

Basic electrical

(switches, outlets, lighting, troubleshooting)

Carpentry

(trim, framing repairs, doors, hardware, shelving)

Tile / flooring repairs

(minor repairs, transitions, patch areas)

General punch‑out

and closeout items

Diagnose field issues and recommend repair solutions

Safely use hand tools and power tools to complete work efficiently

Maintain clean and organized job sites

Communicate progress, job status updates, and material needs to management

Take job photos and document before/after work as required

Work independently while meeting deadlines and quality expectations

Coordinate with subcontractors or other trades when needed

Follow safety protocols and company standards at all times

Qualifications / Requirements

3+ years experience

in handyman work, maintenance, or multi‑trade construction

Strong working knowledge of:

Plumbing basics

Electrical basics

Drywall and paint repairs

General carpentry

Ability to troubleshoot and work without constant supervision

Professional appearance and strong customer service skills

Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

Must be comfortable working in commercial spaces during business hours (as required)

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work (kneeling, climbing, standing)

Qualifications

Experience in

retail/commercial service work

(dispensaries, storefronts, facility maintenance)

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (not required)

Experience using apps/platforms like Jobber, OpenWrench, or similar work order systems

Ability to read basic scope notes, plans, or field instructions

Tools & Equipment

Must have basic hand tools (company may supply additional equipment depending on role)

Must be able to operate ladders, drills, saws, and standard jobsite equipment safely

Work Schedule

Full‑time or part‑time depending on workload

Some evening/weekend work may be required for emergency service calls or job schedules
