Tesla is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our large-scale EPC project team. What You'll Do
Collaborate with the construction team to install power distribution systems, transformers, lighting, temporary construction power, and electrical equipment up to 480 VAC
Maintain and troubleshoot various electrical components and systems
Interpret and use complex electrical schematics and blueprints to plan, install, and improve electrical systems
Consult manuals and read project electrical drawings to perform and plan work scopes
Execute a wide variety of electrical tasks including installation, termination, testing, and commissioning
Provide timely feedback on progress, issues, and solutions to support team and project goals
Exhibit a positive attitude and strong work ethic that reflects Tesla's mission and goals
What You'll Bring
Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a journeyman electrician in industrial or commercial settings
Proficiency in sizing conductors and conduits and using the NEC Code Book
Experience handling electrical systems from low to high voltage up to 480 VAC (medium voltage experience is a plus)
Ability to interpret electrical prints and schematics
Capability to test and commission work according to Tesla procedures and building department codes
Strong knowledge of job site safety with ability to evaluate job hazards, complete pre-work task planning, and focus on electrical hazards and safety procedures
Ability to work at heights up to 80 ft. and willingness to travel to other projects as needed
