Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Food & Nutrition Services Director, Supervisor, or Lead, the Diet Aide performs a variety of patient food service and dish duties.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Obtain necessary information from the Cerner diet report and CBORD such as diet orders, supplement orders, and allergies to provide patients with adequate nutrition.
Obtain menu preferences and meal orders in CBORD software.
Prepare all food items and patient meal trays accurately based on therapeutic diet order and approved recipes.
Deliver patient meals to all patient care units and return all carts to the kitchen dish room at designated times.

Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
ServSafe Certification preferred within 6 months of hire.
Dietary experience preferred.
