
Foil Press Operator - 3rd Shift

Job Summary
Responsible for the daily operation of a high‑speed Gietz Foil/Embossing press. Ensure accuracy of foiled material coming from offset presses while maintaining cleanliness of the work area. Must be able to perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance and assist with other bindery operations such as cutting and collating as needed.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Read and understand schedules, job tickets, and multi‑part specifications.
Perform make‑ready by setting up foil, heat settings, and appropriate product dies.
Inspect foiled sheets, clean dies, and adjust heat and pressure as necessary.
Move 60‑pound boxes to pallets, set registers, and run paper through the machine.
Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Inventory foil and supplies, and load and unload the foil press.
Operate the cutter and be responsible for cutting and boxing all stocks as called for in specifications.
Assist with training others as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.00 plus $1.75 shift differential and overtime.
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday, 10:00 pm – 6:00 am.
Benefits after 30 days: choice of medical, dental and vision plans; 401(k) with employer match; generous paid time off; holiday pay (eligible right away); tuition assistance after 90 days; $750 referral bonus.
