Responsibilities

Provide diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans per orders.

Perform phlebotomy and IV starts/removals as required; manage airway equipment and therapy devices.

Administer prescribed respiratory therapies, monitor effectiveness, and document patient responses.

Educate patients and families on treatments, equipment use, and discharge care.

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support NICU patients and overall patient outcomes.

Requirements

NICU experience required.

Active licensure/credentialing as a respiratory therapist or equivalent per state requirements.

Ability to perform phlebotomy and IV starts/removals.

Ability to work night shifts (7 p.m.–7 a.m.) with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Willingness to participate in a temporary travel assignment in a hospital setting.
