Certified Phlebotomist
Job Type: PRN, Nonexempt
Schedule: Minimum 1 shift a week availability; Days 7:00 am – 5:00 pm, Evenings 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm, On call monthly rotation, weekends and holidays
Opportunity to pick up shifts at Person Memorial Hospital and Outpatient Facility
How You’ll Contribute
Collect and process blood specimens for laboratory testing in an acute care hospital setting.
Accurately label, process, and deliver specimens for timely testing.
Perform blood collection using age‑appropriate techniques.
Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
Support daily operational needs.
Assist with coordination and execution of blood drives, including donor interviewing and screening.
Apply strong critical‑thinking skills, work independently with minimal supervision, and operate effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑stress environment.
What We’re Looking For
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Approved nationally accredited training course or program in Phlebotomy.
Phlebotomy certification from ASCP or NHA required.
Basic Life Support certification.
