Field Service Technician
Location: Detroit, Michigan area
Compensation: $67‑$68k per year
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision coverage and 401(k) retirement plan. Eligible for discretionary bonuses.
Field Support
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment at customer sites
Provide basic product and maintenance training to end users
Respond to technical support requests, including occasional on‑call support
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues in a timely manner
Technical & Engineering Support
Assist with testing and evaluation of new products or prototypes
Support development of service manuals, installation guides, and documentation
Utilize basic electrical and mechanical measuring tools
Assist with light fabrication or modification of parts when needed
General
Maintain accurate service records and reports
Support internal teams as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Technical or trade school training preferred
2+ years of experience in a mechanical, electrical, or field service role
Basic computer proficiency (e.g., email, Word, Excel)
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Ability to operate basic tools and equipment used in repair or fabrication environments
