We are seeking a highly experienced and entrepreneurial Senior Litigation Attorney with 10+ years of experience to join our growing firm. This is a leadership role for a confident litigator who can independently manage high-stakes matters, drive case strategy, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients. Our practice focuses on New Jersey and New York Estate Litigation and Family Law, and the ideal candidate brings deep experience in one or both areas. This role offers a unique opportunity not only to lead sophisticated cases, but also to grow your own practice within a supportive and expanding platform.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Case Leadership
Independently manage a sophisticated caseload of estate litigation and/or family law matters from intake through trial or settlement
Develop and execute advanced litigation strategies aligned with client objectives
Advanced Legal Drafting & Analysis
Draft and oversee complex pleadings, dispositive motions, and appellate briefs
Conduct high-level legal analysis and adjust strategies based on evolving developments
Courtroom Advocacy
Lead court appearances, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
Confidently argue motions and handle high-pressure proceedings
Client Relationship Management
Serve as a primary and trusted advisor to clients
Build and maintain long-term client relationships
Leadership & Mentorship
Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff
Ensure consistently high-quality work product across matters
Business Development & Firm Growth
Contribute to client development and firm expansion efforts
Leverage and grow existing relationships and referral networks
Play an active role in shaping firm strategy and long-term success
Qualifications
Experience & Credentials
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active and good standing licenses in both New Jersey and New York
Minimum 10+ years of litigation experience in a law firm setting
Significant experience in estate litigation and/or family law
Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex matters
Core Competencies
Exceptional strategic thinking and legal judgment
Superior written and oral advocacy skills
Proven leadership and team management capabilities
Strong client relationship and business development skills
Portable book of business is a strong plus, but not required
Compensation & Growth
Base Salary: $150,000+, commensurate with experience
Performance-Based Bonus Structure, including:
Incentives tied to collections and productivity
Origination credits / revenue-sharing on self-generated business
Partner-Track Opportunity for the right candidate
Significant autonomy with the ability to build and expand your practice
