We are seeking a
Federal Litigation Law Clerk (Licensed Attorney)
to support Assistant U.S. Attorneys (AUSAs) within the
U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Georgia .
This role offers

Key Responsibilities
Draft and review legal memoranda, motions, briefs, and proposed court orders
Conduct advanced legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and federal legal databases
Provide direct litigation and case support to Assistant U.S. Attorneys (AUSAs)
Assist with case preparation, discovery, and trial support
Track case filings, deadlines, and federal procedural requirementsPrepare case law summaries and legal analyses for active matters
Support both
criminal and civil federal litigation cases
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state (required)
Minimum
1 year of post-JD legal experience
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Familiarity with federal court procedures preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research platforms
U.S. Citizenship required
Ability to pass a federal background investigation
