Finance Staff (FS) formulates, establishes and maintains Department-wide policies, procedures, and financial systems to support planning, programming, budgeting, accounting and other financial management activities. This position is in the Financial Systems Infrastructure Group (FSIPG) responsible for the design, development, implementation, deployment, and maintenance of systems that FS administers for the Department.

works with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
Oral Communication -

expresses information to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information; makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
Problem Solving -

identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgement to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
Specialized Experience

One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or equivalent band in the Federal service, which includes: Developing systems life cycle management concepts and/or frameworks; Identifying and/or mitigating project risks through proactive planning and/or contingency strategies.
You must meet all qualification requirements, including time-in-grade, by 05/11/2026 of this announcement.
