Department: The Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE) at the Florida A&M University-Florida State University College of Engineering invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in Aerospace including Propulsion, Structures, and Space Guidance, Navigation, and Controls.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain a robust externally funded research program; demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching excellence in undergraduate and graduate courses; participate in college and professional service.
Qualifications
Earned Ph.D. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or closely related discipline; ability to create and sustain an internationally recognized research program; strong interest in engineering education.
Preferred Qualifications
Research grounded in mechanical & aerospace engineering in fields such as Aerospace Propulsion, Aerospace Structures, Space Guidance, Navigation, and Controls, or related areas that complement existing program strengths. Position is assistant level; well-qualified candidates may be considered for higher rank.
