Responsibilities
Managing a caseload of lien files which involves rating the permanent disability under the AMA guides, reviewing medical records, understanding apportionment, completing settlement documents, and resolving liens
Performing lien negotiations and legal representations
Appearing before a judge for Mandatory Settlement Conferences, Status Conferences, and walking through settlements
Providing timely communication with clients and written summaries on a routine basis
Qualifications
Three years of experience working as a Hearing Representative in California Workers’ Compensation Defense (Required)
Knowledge of CA Workers’ Compensation law
Highly motivated, results-driven, high energy, and a sense of urgency
Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to outstanding customer service
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently with little supervision
Client-focused, with the ability to deliver results
