Medical Billing Analyst

Job Summary
The Medical Billing Analyst is responsible for qualifying and analyzing data, ensuring data accuracy, preparing and submitting claims to payers, and monitoring the quality of billing information to meet payer requirements. This role requires timely and compliant claim submissions and corrective actions to maintain billing standards.
Responsibilities
Qualify and analyze medical billing data.
Ensure data accuracy and compliance with payer requirements.
Prepare and submit claims to payers.
Monitor and analyze billing records for quality.
Initiate corrections to uphold billing standards.
Skills & Requirements
High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree or higher preferred.
Minimum 18 months experience with medical claim billing.
Minimum 18+ months experience in healthcare reimbursement, behavioral health insurance/billing, or related work.
Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers.
Experience with behavioral health claims preferred.
Remote work experience preferred.
Valid identification required.
Billing certification preferred.
