Client Investment Planner, Affiliate Marketing

Overview
Investment Planners play a key role in supporting CJ’s Client Investment team. They develop and deliver strategic affiliate plans that align with clients’ business objectives, leverage data-driven insights, optimize partnerships, and ensure program effectiveness to drive measurable results for advertisers.

Responsibilities

Create comprehensive investment plans aligned with client KPIs, budgets, and goals, collaborating with client strategy teams to assess the eCommerce/Affiliate landscape and identify growth opportunities.

Assess the financial impact of potential opportunities and provide strategic recommendations, developing a deep understanding of how Affiliate strategies can scale client business growth.

Stay updated on emerging partnerships and trends in eCommerce/Affiliate to formulate diversified, forward-thinking investment strategies by vertical, publisher, and media type.

Manage and track day-to-day client requests, providing accurate and timely feedback.

Aggregate and analyze data from internal Strategy, Business Analytics, and Operations teams to inform overall strategies and investment decisions.

Incorporate budget, past performance, audience reach, opportunity size, and impact to build publisher portfolio recommendations.

Assist with annual planning, applying client growth goals across multiple brands and categories.

Act as a Commerce specialist within the greater strategy team, integrating efforts with media and analytics to drive commerce growth.

Qualifications

Analytical mindset with the ability to pull insights from large data sets.

Bachelor’s Degree or related work experience and at least 2 years in online marketing, ideally digital performance marketing.

Project management experience and the ability to multitask.

Excellent presentation, communication skills, and ability to convey information across stakeholder levels.

Strong understanding of consumer market trends and marketplace readiness.

Ability to identify, pitch, and close new opportunities with affiliates or partners to drive incremental revenue.

Excellent organizational skills (experience with ticketing systems and project management software a plus).

Respect for varying opinions and perspectives.

This is a hybrid role requiring three days a week in the Needham, MA office.

Compensation
Compensation Range: $60,800 - $89,600 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.
