Overview
The Supervisor, Paid Social will oversee tactical planning, campaign creation, execution, reporting and optimization of client’s paid social media campaigns. Responsible for a strong attention to process and detail to ensure successful execution of all campaigns under their purview, including maintaining accurate program forecasts and hitting stated revenue and sales goals. Proven account management and team leadership experience is essential, as they will be the day‑to‑day contact for all paid social media efforts.

Responsibilities

Oversee the performance of paid social campaigns across platforms like Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and others to ensure client goals are met. This includes managing budget projections, optimizing campaigns, and maintaining quality assurance throughout.

Develop and refine overall campaign strategies and tactical recommendations that align with client goals and broader marketing efforts, inclusive of developing strong audience strategies.

Accountable for accurate budgeting and forecasting to ensure proper investment of media dollars.

Interface with other department leads to share ideas, communicate service offerings, and to identify and deliver new solutions for clients.

Keep senior management apprised of key client opportunities, potential risks and other key nuances which affect the health of the business.

Excel in identifying and resolving complex campaign challenges, using analytical skills and industry knowledge to implement effective solutions.

Introduce innovative ideas and robust testing strategies into campaign strategy, such as testing new ad formats or exploring emerging platforms, especially around social commerce activation, to keep campaigns fresh and competitive.

Implement best practices within account, including budget pacing controls, account and client management standards, and media channel best practices.

Lead the team in analyzing paid social performance data, extracting meaningful insights, and recommending actionable next steps; ensures reporting is thorough and delivers value to clients.

Ensure team provides clear, consistent and proactive communication of campaign performance, strategy updates, and project timelines to clients.

Uphold an active role in meetings, presenting campaign performance insights, tactical plans and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner.

Manage and delegate responsibilities of day‑to‑day tasks and communication to junior team members, ensuring all initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed performance goals while maintaining the highest standard of quality.

Own the development, updating and documentation of team QA processes and best practices to improve operational efficiencies.

Act as a subject‑matter expert within the team, providing guidance and support to team members and staying ahead of industry development to drive innovation.

Partner with senior team members to develop processes for improved workflow within Zenith and between agency partners and vendors.

Build and maintain relationships with vendor & outside agency teams, leading meetings to ensure strong collaboration.

Educate clients on emerging trends, technologies and strategies, positioning themselves as a trusted advisor who helps them stay ahead of the curve.

Share knowledge and expertise with the broader team and department, contributing to Zenith’s thought leadership in performance media.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, concentration in business, marketing or advertising preferred but not required.

3+ years of experience in social performance marketing; client side or agency side preferred.

1+ years of demonstrated success in managing and leading people.

Deep knowledge and hands‑on experience using paid social platforms, with a priority focus on Meta and TikTok.

Experience with Commerce or Retail brands, with expertise in social commerce capabilities. Experience with TikTok Shop campaigns is a plus.

Experience with brand safety and ad serving technology (DoubleVerify, Adobe Analytics, etc.).

High competency level in Microsoft Office with specific strengths in Excel and Powerpoint.

Ability to set, track and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure campaign success.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to clients and team members.

Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Demonstrated problem solving, organization and project management skills.

Ability to work independently and balance multiple tasks.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to move at an agile pace.

Compensation Range: $75,050.00 - $107,835.00. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third‑party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
