
Senior Animator/Video Producer

The work
Support and facilitate client video creation for remote and field‑based video production work. Including filming, editing, sound mixing, and motion graphic creation for a range of video products related to duties as assigned.
Works in collaboration with the Song Video Production Lead, creative teams, client account teams, and production staff (as needed) to produce various video products for digital distribution, including micro‑documentary and a range of motion graphics animated content.
Create and combine motion graphics and graphic design to produce compelling and engaging video content that meets client objectives.
Develop high‑resolution motion graphics for LED walls used in live events, along with animated case studies, explainer videos, high‑impact sizzle reels, product release demos, After Effects character animation, and short social media animated GIFs.
Post‑Production Plan and perform video post‑production tasks for a range of deliverables including mini‑documentaries, video podcasts, sizzle reels, and product demos, which include proper media management of footage after remote and live shoots, reviewing footage and making editorial decisions, video transcoding, rough cuts, audio mixing, color correction, motion graphics and lower third titles, video compression for output, and final archiving of completed projects.
Support the planning and filming of live and remote studio video productions. Help set up video cameras and audio mixers. Adjust studio lighting equipment. Assist with virtual production workflows that combine LED‑wall environments with live‑action capture. Adjust audio equipment, including assorted lavalier and shotgun microphones—film “B‑roll” footage and interviews for edited videos.
Provide limited troubleshooting of video, audio, and lighting equipment. Perform routine equipment maintenance.
Execute pre‑production and production planning activities.
Communicate technical information in non‑technical terms—conduct field‑based video production, which may involve interacting with Client Account teams and Clients.
Operate portable video and audio equipment; transport and set up lighting and audio equipment as required; provide limited troubleshooting and maintenance of field production equipment.
Here’s what you need
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of experience in using Adobe After Effects to create motion graphics videos
Experience in motion graphics, video editing, and at least a basic knowledge of professional video production practices.
Intermediate to advanced level of standard software applications proficiency with an understanding of current video/photo formats, codecs, project‑based file management, and editing with Adobe Premiere Pro
Basic to intermediate experience in visual design or art direction, with experience developing graphics for video in Adobe Illustrator
Basic to intermediate experience in art direction to create digital storyboards with Adobe Illustrator
Basic to intermediate experience using generative AI tools to support video production, including AI‑assisted virtual backdrops, sound enhancement, and concept development.
Basic knowledge of professional video production procedures, practices, techniques, and terminology
Professional and DSLR video production equipment operation, including video cameras, audio recording equipment, video editing file compression, motion graphics title creation, lighting, and post‑production equipment
Must submit a reel/portfolio or samples of motion graphics and video editing work

Basic to intermediate proficiency with DaVinci Resolve Studio, including color‑correction, sound mixing, and final delivery workflows.
