Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Rad Tech for a 23‑week travel assignment in Ashtabula, Ohio. The role involves advanced imaging procedures, patient education, equipment maintenance, and collaborative reporting to physicians.
Required Qualifications
One year’s experience as a Radiologic Technologist
Current Radiologic Technologist / Radiography license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
Current ARRT Certification
Other certifications and licenses may be required
Essential Work Functions
Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions
Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high‑quality diagnostic images according to physician orders
Maintain equipment and sterilize the room in which the procedure takes place
Evaluate images for quality, present images and preliminary findings to physicians and health care team
Maintain and inspect imaging equipment for proper functionality, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions as needed
Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records
Follow hospital safety rules and procedures, including infection control and radiation safety protocols
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice
Required Essential Skills
Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
Physical: remain stationary, move equipment 50‑100 lb, push, pull, bend
Interpersonal: work effectively with a variety of personnel to present a positive attitude and professionalism
Technical/Motor: grasp, fine manipulation, push/pull, move around during procedures and/or using departmental equipment
Mental: cope with frequent contact with the general public, meet deadlines under pressure, work under close supervision occasionally or independently, handle irregular activity schedules, maintain continuous concentration
Sensory: possess visual acuity and effectively communicate
