For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering a $10,000.00 sign‑on bonus for Physical Therapists.
Eligible candidates are hired into a full or part‑time position. The bonus amount is prorated for part‑time hires; per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth members are ineligible; former MaineHealth members are ineligible until more than six months have passed since separation from employment.

Location: Cumberland County
ADULT patient populations: Weekend rotation required – alternating schedule (1 weekend day / 2 weekend days).
Flexible Schedule Options Available
Any combination that fits within the standard hours of operation between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm.
Full time: 40 hours per week
Summary
The Home Care PT supports MaineHealth Care at Home’s (MHCAH) mission, vision, and values by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence, competence, collaboration, innovation, respect, patient- and family-centered care, commitment to our community, and accountability. In accordance with national standards of practice and within the guidelines and policies of both MHCAH and the Maine State Board of Licensure, the Home Care PT provides highly reliable, evidence-based, patient- and family-centered quality care through assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of the effects of care provided.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
License/Certifications:
State of Maine licensure as a Physical Therapist. Current, valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy. Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers.
Experience:
Minimum one year of full-time equivalent experience in a supervised setting.
Interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Analytical ability sufficient to identify changes in patients’ conditions and to initiate appropriate action.
