Overview
Department: Radiology Diagnostic
Schedule: Mon/Tue 9am–7:30pm, Thu/Fri 7am–5:30pm, rotating weekends; one Saturday per month 7am–5pm (10‑hour shifts as needed)

Responsibilities
Under general supervision of the Director of Radiology Services, the Mammographer actively participates in the performance of specialized radiographic imaging procedures that assist radiologists in diagnosis and treatment of medical disorders. The role involves direct patient care, engagement in facility quality and safety initiatives, compliance with local and federal regulations, and support of complex and sensitive patient and family issues. The Mammographer ensures quality and safe delivery of care to patients of all ages.
Qualifications
Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by state
Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program accredited by JRCERT
Current ARRT certification
Advanced certification in the field of Mammography
Current experience as a radiology technologist
Strong verbal, written, and communication skills
Current BCLS (AHA) certification
Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory standards
Ability to travel to all imaging facilities regularly and without notice
Experience with HIS/RIS

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and additional voluntary benefits. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $35.78 to $51.82 per hour, with exact compensation determined at time of hire based on skill set, years of experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
