Job Description
The Therapist provides clinical social work services on a designated unit in a manner consistent with Lakeside Behavioral Health’s philosophy and objectives.
The Therapist is responsible for psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, discharge planning/case management service, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology or related field required; licensure preferred.
Experience: Prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting.
Licensure/Certification: TN LCSW, LPC, LP preferred.
Knowledge: Case management, discharge planning, group leadership, age‑specific development, crisis and behavior management, family therapy theory and practice.
Supervision received: Director of Social Services, Program Directors, Program Coordinators.
Flexibility for reassignment to units serving varied populations, including adults and dually diagnosed patients in inpatient and partial hospital settings.
