Occupational Therapist
for a 13‑week assignment in Ahoskie, North Carolina, starting 06/01/2026. The position requires 40 hours per week, eight‑hour days, and employment type is travel.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive evaluation and treatment of patients with functional limitations related to orthopedic and neurological conditions, deconditioning, and other medical and surgical conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans focused on ADL/IADL training, functional mobility, upper‑extremity function, cognitive and perceptual skills, and adaptive equipment or environmental modifications.
Educate patients and caregivers, maintain thorough documentation in the EMR, and participate in interdisciplinary care conferences as needed.
Collaborate with physical therapists, speech‑language pathologists, nursing, physicians, and case management to optimize patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Manage a caseload that may include outpatient, inpatient, or post‑acute rehabilitation patients.
Qualifications
Licensed Occupational Therapist with an acute‑care background.
Minimum of one reference from entire work history.
Preferred: OT‑Acute certification or experience in acute‑care settings.
