Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Major/Essential Functions

Provide inpatient coverage for Trustpoint Rehabilitation Hospital.

28-35 adult patients daily w/APRN support available

Call 1 to 2 weekends/month with call split among other adult providers

72 bed facility with 130 admissions/month

Patient Diagnosis: 20% Stroke, 15% Trauma, 5-10% Spinal, and mix of Ortho, Debility

Train and Supervise PM&R Residents.

Optional VA appointment/clinic time.

Required Qualifications

MD or DO.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in PM&R or in the process of becoming Board Eligible at the completion of training.

Completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 3.

Visa Information
TTUHSC, at its sole discretion, may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions in accordance with the directive issued by Governor Abbott. Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission is required. On a limited, case-by-case basis, the institution may also sponsor eligible individuals for change-of-status or change-of-employer petitions for qualifying positions. TTUHSC will not pay the $100,000 fee, if applicable.
