Role Summary
As the Senior EHS Partner for North America, you will own and drive Exotec's Environmental, Health & Safety program across the region, working in close partnership with site leaders and the global EHS team. This is a hands‑on, senior individual contributor role combining strategic influence with on‑the‑ground execution, well suited for an experienced EHS professional who enjoys shaping approach and delivering results.
Responsibilities
Own and drive Exotec's Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) program across North America, in alignment with global standards and local regulatory requirements
Act as the primary EHS partner for regional leadership and site teams, supporting safe operations, accident prevention, and risk reduction initiatives
Deploy, adapt, and continuously improve EHS policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance and operational relevance
Monitor applicable federal, state, and local regulations, anticipate regulatory changes, and support compliance activities and audits
Lead or coordinate incident and safety event investigations, root cause analyses, and follow‑up actions to drive continuous improvement
Track, analyze, and report key EHS performance indicators (KPIs), contributing to regional and global reviews and improvement roadmaps
Identify safety training needs and support the development and rollout of health, safety, and accident prevention initiatives
Provide hands‑on EHS guidance and support to multiple sites, including regular site visits to strengthen safety culture
Serve as the regional EHS point of contact with internal stakeholders, global EHS partners, and external authorities or auditors when required
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) or occupational safety role within an industrial, manufacturing, intralogistics/logistics or warehousing environment
Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and applicable health and safety requirements
Strong leadership capability, with the ability to set direction, influence stakeholders, and drive EHS priorities across multiple sites
Hands‑on experience with incident investigations, audits, and basic EHS reporting
Strong communication skills, a pragmatic mindset, and the ability to work effectively with both local teams and international partners
Willingness to travel up to approximately 60% across North America
