Registered Nurse (RN) – Respiratory Intermediate Care Unit — Park Ridge, IL. Full time; 7p-7a. Will consider day shift for RN with vent experience.
Where You Will Work
25-bed unit that provides nursing care to a wide scope of diverse patient populations requiring telemetry monitoring related to medical, surgical or cardiac-related issues or also requiring ventilator support in our Magnet-designated, level 1 trauma, teaching hospital. The unit offers exposure to patients with diverse and complex medical issues to build the skills and knowledge and grow in your nursing career.
We’re Looking For
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS within 6 months of hire
Requires 1 year minimum of Medical/Surgical nursing experience to be considered
Vent experience highly desired and required for day shift
What You’ll Do
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and effective communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
