Job Description
The Department of Medicine is seeking applications for a part‑time tenure
on‑tenure or clinical track position with VA assignment for the Division of Rheumatology & Clinical Immunology at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level. Rank and tenure status will be determined based on education and experience. Responsibilities include patient care in the inpatient and outpatient settings as well as supervision and teaching of Rheumatology fellows, residents, and medical students. An interest in translational research is highly desirable.
Minimum Requirements
Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Rheumatology
MD degree or equivalent
Eligible for a Florida Medical License
Responsibilities
Provide clinical care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Supervise and teach Rheumatology fellows, residents, and medical students.
Participate in a 0.25 FTE role at the Malcolm R. Randall Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Engage in translational research (highly desirable).
Qualifications
Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Rheumatology.
MD degree or equivalent.
Eligibility for a Florida Medical License.
Commitment to service and teamwork.
Desire to train tomorrow’s doctors.
Salary & Benefits
Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Substantial start‑up packages are available for appropriate research applicants.
