Key Responsibilities
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and ensuring patient comfort
Assist physicians and healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures
Administer injections, perform basic laboratory tests, and collect specimens as directed
Manage patient documentation, update medical records, and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
Schedule appointments, follow-up visits, and coordinate patient care activities
Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas and medical equipment
Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards at all times
Requirements / Qualifications
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential from an accredited program
Proven experience in a clinical setting preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and healthcare regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
Compassionate, patient-focused attitude and professional demeanor
