Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team and contribute to the assembly of frames, sub‑assemblies, cooling systems, and enclosure components. You will use both hand and power tools to execute your tasks. This role involves installing mechanical hardware, busbars, brackets, cable trays, and structural components in accordance with engineering drawings and build instructions. Additionally, you will perform alignment of mechanical parts, follow electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, and route, cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires and harnesses. The successful candidate will install electrical components, document results, and communicate any issues to the engineering or project leads. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work instructions accurately, conducting in‑process quality inspections, and ensuring assembly meets all standards.
Responsibilities
Assemble frames, sub‑assemblies, cooling systems, and enclosure components using hand and power tools.
Install mechanical hardware, busbars, brackets, cable trays, and structural components according to engineering drawings and build instructions.
Perform alignment of mechanical parts.
Follow electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Route, cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires and harnesses.
Install electrical components.
Document results and communicate issues to engineering or project leads.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions accurately.
Conduct in-process quality inspections to ensure assembly meets all standards.
Work off a tablet to find job orders.
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Assemble, modify, rework, and reassemble production components using drawings, pick tickets, process documentation, and verbal instructions.
Perform repetitive and skilled assembly operations to meet quality and production standards.
Conduct basic quality checks and identify defects or non‑conformances.
Use hand and power tools, including power screwdrivers, strippers, and crimpers.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in assembly, electrical, and mechanical tasks.
Experience with hand and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, production documents, and wiring schematics.
Competence in mechanical assembly, electronic assembly, and electrical assembly.
Skill in electronics, power tools, general labor, electrical wiring, circuit board handling, computer data entry, crimping, troubleshooting, and control panel work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with assembly, mechanical and electrical tasks.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
