GS-13 Minimum Qualifications Requirement
To be eligible at the GS-13 level, you must meet the specialized experience requirement defined below:
Specialized Experience
One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in Federal service.
Experience supervising a legal support staff.
Identifying employee training needs.
Evaluating employee performance.
Assigning work projects and establishing deadlines.
Providing paralegal support to a professional attorney staff.
Providing administrative and technical services with litigation support, eDiscovery services, and complex data management.
Career Transition Assistance Plan (CTAP)
The CTAP provides eligible surplus and displaced competitive service employees in the Department of Justice with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies.
