The Journey Clinic RN provides comprehensive nursing care for patients in an ambulatory care environment based on individual physical, emotional, spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan.
This position facilitates care coordination by using the nursing process to assess, identify, plan, implement, and evaluate all aspects of care and teaching needs via direct and telephonic/telehealth or electronic encounters.
This role works in collaboration with other members of the health care team.
The Clinic RN maintains compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements and supports clinicians in delivering quality health care to patients.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an ambulatory setting.
Coordinate care using the nursing process (assess, identify, plan, implement, evaluate) and deliver teaching.
Communicate with patients via direct, telephonic, telehealth, or electronic encounters.
Collaborate with the health care team.
Maintain compliance with nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
Support clinicians in delivering quality health care.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited registered nursing school.
Associate’s Degree Nursing or Bachelor’s Degree Nursing.
National Provider BLS certification upon hire (American Heart Association).
Registered Nurse license in the state where care will be provided.
At least 18 months of professional nursing experience.
